Montréal, October 5, 2010 - As it approaches its 30th anniversary, LADMMI, l’école de danse contemporaine, a national dance training leader, is undertaking its first national audition tour.

If you are seriously considering a career as a professional contemporary dance interpreter and you are a creative dancer with a solid technical background in classical ballet, jazz or contemporary dance, think about applying to train at our post-secondary training institution.

LADMMI is affiliated with Cégep du Vieux Montréal and offers a 3-year college level education (DEC), which is accredited by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS).

• Registration for the audition will take place onsite immediately before the audition.
• Please bring 2 recent 4” x 6” photographs with you (a head shot and a complete body shot in dance attire).
• The registration fee is $50, payable onsite in cash or by money order made out to LADMMI.
• The final auditions will take place in Montreal on March 26-27, 2011.
• Acceptance into the program is conditional on succeeding the final audition and achieving the academic prerequisites that are determined by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport for college level education admission.
• LADMMI has rigorous admission criteria and selects only 20 candidates from amongst the most talented applicants in order to give these young dancers the training required to succeed in the professional milieu.
