Introduction to Contemporary Dance
Dance: A fun way to work out! Discover new ways to unleash your talent and stay fit through contemporary dance. The École de danse contemporaine de Montréal offers a stimulating learning environment and access the expertise of trained professional - all in our spacious studios located in the heart of downtown Montréal. Live music every night!
Course Outline
CONTEMPORARY DANCE 1
A 90-minute class aims to achieve fluid movement and develop greater flexibility. It includes basic contemporary dance technique as well as choreographic exploration.
NO PREREQUISITE
With: Corinne Crane-Desmarais
CONTEMPORARY DANCE 2
Those who attended the classes for adults will be pleased to hear that a second level is now offered. Program: a more advanced technical level and festive choreographies!
PREREQUISITE: Level 1 or demonstrate sufficient training for level 2
With: Daniel Villeneuve
IMPROVISATION
Improvisation classes are intended for those who wish to express their creativity and imagination through movement. Led by a seasoned contemporary dance professional in an established atmosphere, the classes encourage free expression and give rise to spontaneous interactions with the other dancers.
NO PREREQUISITE – for all ages!
